This started as a dumb sketch scribbled on a legal pad during a work meeting, but I liked the concept so I took it into Procreate and ran with it. Many, many hours later, here we are! I’m still getting the hang of working in Procreate and in a more… “painterly” fashion, for lack of a better word (as opposed to working in Illustrator doing vector pieces), so I’m hoping I can speed things up as I practice more. Of course, it doesn’t help that if left to my own devices I’ll just noodle with pieces for all eternity – I’m very bad at knowing when personal projects are “finished.”
Anyway – done on the iPad Pro in Procreate. Cue Roar by Katy Perry.
